At House of Akaar, every piece is crafted with care and undergoes strict quality checks before dispatch. If you need to return or exchange your purchase, please review the policy below.

ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

We offer a 7-day return window, which means you have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

To be eligible for a return: - The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received - All original tags, dust bags, and packaging boxes must be intact - The product must be in brand-new, resalable condition - A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required

Any product returned in a used, damaged, altered, or incomplete condition will not be accepted.

SALE ITEMS

Items purchased during a catalogue-wide sale are eligible for exchange only and not eligible for returns, unless the item is received damaged or has a manufacturing defect.

In such cases, once the returned item reaches our warehouse and is approved, you may receive store credit.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Certain designs with highly structured silhouettes are not eligible for returns, as they are prone to damage during return transit. These items will be clearly marked on the product page where applicable.

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If you receive: - A damaged item - A defective product - An incorrect item

Contact us at hello@houseofakaar.com within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear images and your order reference number.

·         For verified damaged or defective items, we will arrange a free exchange.

·         All House of Akaar products undergo multiple quality checks before dispatch. In rare cases, the final determination of whether a product qualifies as damaged or defective will be made by House of Akaar, based on internal quality standards.

TRY-ONS

We do not offer a try-on service. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return within 7 days, provided the product remains unused with all original tags and packaging intact.

EXCHANGES

The fastest way to receive a new item is to return your original purchase and place a new order once the return is approved.

A standard exchange fee of ₹500 will be applicable for exchanges, unless the exchange is due to a defect or error on our part.

RESTOCKING FEE

For returns initiated for reasons such as change of mind, preference, or incorrect selection (and not due to defects, damages, or order errors by us), a restocking fee of 10% of the product value will be deducted from the refund amount.

We encourage customers to review product details carefully before placing an order to avoid unnecessary returns.

REFUNDS

·         A standard delivery charge of ₹350 will be deducted from the refundable amount

·         Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund

·         If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 business days

Please note that banks or payment providers may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

FINAL NOTE

House of Akaar reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions. All decisions regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds are final and made in accordance with this policy.
